I have encountered quite a bit of disc rot among my older DVDs and even a few Blu-rays. I would say I am currently at around 10% of my older discs that have rot. I assume the newer the discs, the less disc rot I will encounter.

So I'm doing this to avoid more and more issues with rot...

DVD Profiler runs better on my Apple silicon Mac using Fusion Pro and Windows 11 than it does on my Intel Mac using Bootcamp and Windows 10. No problems so far. I think this says a lot since Bootcamp runs Windows 10 natively on an Intel Mac, while Fusion Pro runs Windows 11 virtually on an Apple silicon Mac.

I was wrong! Actually I think that I was initially mislead into thinking that this was how child windows would normally work. I should have done better research. Well, you live and learn. So I found a way to fix it without too much rewriting. I didn't even have to think outside the box. More like on the edge of the box. 

Anyway, now the windows behave just the way I always intended. If you don't use dialog windows, any child window can be selected at will. Only the current window will stay on top, if that option is selected.
